10 Days Kenya Safari: Through a 10-day safari in Kenya, you can explore multiple famous natural destinations such as Amboseli, Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara. This Kenya safari shows you diverse wildlife encounters such as Big Five viewing, plus seeing many elephants against Mount Kilimanjaro. You will participate in boat tours plus birdwatching while meeting Maasai tribe members during your visit.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: pick up and transfer to Amboseli National Park.

Our driver guide will collect you at your Nairobi location for a briefing about the Kenya safari. Your drive to Amboseli National Park lasts between 4 and 5 hours after pickup. During your trip you will find joy in watching the beautiful scenery of the farmland along with Kilimanjaro Mountain.

You will begin your adventure by registering at the lodge before having lunch and taking a late afternoon Kenya safari tour. Due to its thriving elephant and predator populations, along with zebra, giraffe, and diverse birdlife, Amboseli National Park attains worldwide fame. You will return to the lodge after the wildlife drive for dinner, followed by an evening rest.

Day 2: Full day game drive in Amboseli National Park

At an early morning hour you will leave to explore Amboseli National Park during an entire day. During your open-road trips through Amboseli National Park you can see elephants walk in the plain fields with Mount Kilimanjaro as their backdrop plus other species such as buffaloes, wildebeests, and hyenas.

You will eat your packed lunch in the park before resuming your game drive. When evening arrives, you will return to the lodge for rest and fun dinner.

Day 3: Move to Lake Naivasha

From morning breakfast, you will depart the lodge while on a Kenya Safari to travel to Lake Naivasha, where you can discover its bird species and observe hippos. It takes 5 to 6 hours to reach your destination with enjoyable natural scenery during the trip.

Immediately after your check-in you will enjoy lunch at the lodge then cruise Lake Naivasha to see hippos and birds. You will return to the lodge to eat dinner before resting for the night after boat rides.

Day 4: Move to Lake Nakuru National Park and spend the afternoon game viewing

You will leave the lodge after enjoying breakfast to reach Lake Nakuru National Park, which serves as a sanctuary for rhinos and flamingo populations. The journey takes about 2 hours.

After lodge check-in, you will have lunch followed by an afternoon game drive adventure. Attending afternoon game drives here lets you spot rhinos as well as experience other wildlife, including lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and local birds. Following game viewing, you will get back to the accommodation to enjoy dinner and spend the night.

Day 5: Move to Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast you will conclude your lodge stay and travel to Masai Mara National Reserve known as Kenya’s best wildlife destination. You need 5 to 6 hours to reach the destination with a lunch break at Narok town during the journey.

When you reach Masai Mara, you will check into the lodge for accommodation and enjoy an afternoon wildlife viewing tour to find elephants and predators. Once the game drive ends, you will go back to the lodge for dinner and overnight accommodations.

Day 6: Full day game drive in Masai Mara National Reserve

Have breakfast early then drive throughout Masai Mara to spot wildlife. The game drive lets you search for the Big Five; lions, buffalos, leopards, elephants and rhinos.

You can see millions of wildebeests and zebras crossing the Mara River from July to October. You will enjoy lunch with a picnic set-up during the game drive before starting your next expedition. You will go back to the lodge in the late afternoon for both dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Morning game drive and Maasai cultural experience

Go on an early morning wildlife search before returning to the lodge for breakfast and self-care time. You will visit the Maasai village today to explore their customs alongside their daily life. You will enjoy both local dances and can speak directly with the local people during your visit. Ending the Kenya cultural tour brings you back to the lodge for your dinner and nighttime rest.

Day 8: Travel to Nairobi, where you will explore town attractions.

You will leave the lodge after having your morning breakfast and go back to Nairobi. Upon arrival you will check in at the hotel, eat lunch later participate in the city tour schedule. During your Kenya tour, you will explore the Nairobi National Museum, Bomas of Kenya and different local marketplaces. On returning from the tour you will enjoy your dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 9: Nairobi National Park and Giraffe Centre visit

After breakfast, you will see lions, rhinos, giraffes and more in Nairobi National Park while enjoying views of the city below.

You will have a chance to bond with and feed the rare Rothschild giraffes at the Giraffe Centre. Enjoy local restaurant food at lunch and use extra time as you want before heading back to the hotel for dinner and sleep.

Day 10: Departure

Check out of the hotel and depart. You will either be dropped at your chosen destination in Nairobi or at the airport for your flight back home.
