Day 1: Transfer to Nairobi National Park for a morning game drive and David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust

At a hotel where you will spend the night in Nairobi, our company’s professional driver guide will pick you up from there, and you will first be briefed about the tour before you set off. You will begin the journey to Nairobi National Park, and when you get there, you will embark on a morning game drive. The morning game drive at Nairobi National Park will expose you to the various ecosystems in this park, including wildlife and vegetation covers. Some of the animals that you will spot during the morning game drive include the zebras, giraffes, lions, rhinos, buffaloes and many more. After the game drive, you will go for lunch at the lodge. After lunch, you will leave the lodge and go for a visit to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust.

While at the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, you will get the opportunity to see the orphaned elephants that are kept at this place after being rescued from the wild. You will learn from the guides about the information on these elephants and what is being done to conserve them. You will then head back to the lodge, where you will have dinner and retire to bed.

Day 2: Morning game drive and a Giraffe Centre Visit

Early in the morning at the lodge, you will have breakfast and then go for a morning game drive. This second morning game drive will enable you to spot wildlife that you were not able to see the previous day. The guide will then take you to the lodge for relaxation and lunch.

After lunch, you will visit the Giraffe Centre, which is a shelter for the endangered Rothschild giraffes. With the help of the guides, you will learn about these rare giraffe species and also take your time to monitor them. The guide will afterwards drive you back to Nairobi. You will be dropped off at a hotel in Nairobi.
