Day 1: pickup and transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park, Afternoon game drive
A driver guide picks you wherever you stay in Nairobi to provide valuable tour information. After this 3 to 4 hour drive you will reach Lake Nakuru National Park. The route offers open views of Great Rift Valley escarpment and delightful scenic terrain.
When you reach the park you will register at the lodge and dining services start. Take a day tour with Kenya tours to see rhinos, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, antelopes and if luck you may spot lions and leopards. The park attracts birdwatchers seeking to observe thousands of flamingos and other bird species including Lake Nakuru. When the game drive ends you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Morning game drive and transfer back to Nairobi
You will depart for morning wildlife spotting early morning as it’s the ideal period to observe wildlife because animals wake up and start their activities before the day heats up. You will travel across various park parts to spot rhinos, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, antelopes and birds in their natural habitat.
Have breakfast and check out of the lodge. Head out and return to Nairobi. On the way, you will make a lunch stopover, then continue to Nairobi, where your driver, Kenya tour guide will deliver you to your chosen drop-off spot or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight.
